Pelham Country Jamboree
Every Saturday night beginning at 5 p.m. (till 11 p.m.) in downtown Pelham is a growing musical phenomenon at the Pelham Jamboree building. Musicians play a variety of music with country, bluegrass, and gospel as the predominant favorites. Bring your pickin’ instrument, admission is free and concessions are available.
No smoking or alcoholic beverages.

Southern Rivers Fine Arts Exhibition
Beginning the second Saturday of February for a week. This annual juried art show promotes art awareness, as well as an appreciation of the art available in our area. Exhibition is held 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. at the Camilla Chamber of Commerce, 212 East Broad Street.

Mitchell County Quail Days
February
For approximately two months every year, local charitable organizations cooperate to bring hunters and civic minded sportsmen to Mitchell County Quail Days. Each weekend’s hunt is held at a variety of private farms and plantations and benefit different charities each weekend.

Mitchell County Pro Tennis Invitational
Camilla, listed as one of the top tennis towns by Racquet Magazine, is host to one of the highlights of the senior pro tour each year. This tournament has attracted over two dozen touring professionals for over twenty-five years.

Gnat Days
1st weekend in May
The first weekend in May the City of Camilla Celebrates a not-so adorable pest with one of the best festivals in the South “Gnat Days”. Gnat Days begin on Friday with a 5-K Fun Run. Saturday starts with the Gnat Days Bike Race, Taster’s Luncheon, Gnat Market, and Merchant’s Sale. The day concludes with the “Under the Oaks” dance on Saturday night. Other events in conjunction with Gnat Days happen throughout April and May such as the Mitchell County Pro Tennis Invitational. This event is affiliated with the Georgia Festival and Events Association and the International Festival and Events Association.

Pelham Wildlife Festival
The first Saturday in October.
This is biggest wildlife event in Southwest Georgia with 12,000 - 15,000 in attendance annually. The Festival features all-day entertainment, wildlife educational shows, arts and crafts, and ends with dancing in the park with a live band.

Southwest GA High Cotton 65 Mile Yard Sale
Held the second Saturday in November.
Yard sale begins in the City of Camilla at GA Hwy. 37 and US Hwy. 19 - drive all the way to the Georgia/Alabama state line in Fort Gaines or vice versa. Along the way, you will encounter lots of sales loaded with anything and everything. Between the sales, you will enjoy several small towns and our beautiful countryside where greeting strangers or neighbors with a wave or smile is our way of life.
This is a collaboration of Mitchell, Baker, Calhoun & Clay Counties.
